Mr. Robot

Mr. Robot is one of the most entertaining shows out there. I recently completed watching it and I can say that it is absolutely brilliant. There isn’t as much hacking in the show as the trailers make it seem, but that’s because the show isn’t about hacking; it’s about something else (I’m trying to keep this article spoiler-free).

Elliot is a very complex character but he is one of my favorite fictional characters due to his lack of social skills and his “f#$k society” attitude.

The scenes that do include hacking are very entertaining and many people praise them for being quite realistic. For example, some feature ProtonMail. Here’s a random fun fact: Proton actually took a feature request from the Mr. Robot team and added it to their mail app (see this).

The ending of the show is really good, too, but I’m not going to go into the details.

Anyway, I recommend watching Mr. Robot, as it’s a pretty good show. Just be warned that there are some gory and adult scenes. Another thing I would like to mention is that some people might not like season two but my best advice is to just power through it as seasons three and four are incredibly good but they rely on season two.
